Optimization of the compressed air system with an economic gain

State of the art:
The food manufacturing company was equipped with 5 compressors, 3 L80 (75kw fixed speed) and 2 L132-RS compressors with a refrigeration dryer air treatment with filtration (class 4 quality air).

An IFSS BRC audit (food audit) revealed the need to modify the existing facility to meet industry standards and achieve Class 1 air quality.

In addition, the addition of several production lines resulted in an increase in air consumption.

 

Solutions provided:
Audit of the existing plant by our technicians.

Replacement of the 3 fixed L80 compressors by 3 L132-RS compressors.

Installation of a BEKO EVERDRY FRA - V 6000 m3/h dryer with filtration upstream and downstream to which an activated carbon filter was added allowing to obtain the class 1 requested by the auditor and the customer.

Compressor engagement control system to balance operating hours.
